In loving memory ofWayne (Sleng Teng) Smith

Wayne Smith, died Monday February 17,2014 at Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) in Jamaica .He was 48 years old.
Singer Wayne Smith, whose computerised song ‘Under mi Sleng Teng’ revolutionised reggae, it was the first programmed beat and that was 1985.Thanksgiving service for dancehall singer Wayne ‘Sleng Teng’ Smith will be held at the Faith United Brethren in Christ Church, 4 Harwood Drive, Washington Boulevard in St Andrew ,Jamaica Saturday March 8,2014 at Noon.
Interment follows at the Meadowrest Memorial Gardens in St Catherine.
