WALKER - Lester H. "Bertie": Age 98 of 
Plantation, FL. Formally of Dressikie, St. Mary, Jamaica. Passed away on 
August 12, 2013 surrounded by his 
family. He was the beloved husband of 
Hortense (Bromfield) Walker. Bertie will 
be missed by his children: Dorothy, 
Carmen (Guenter), Owen (Juliette), 
ShirleyAnn (Fred), Tony (Xiomara), 
Wayne (Mimi) and Larry (Teri), eight 
grandchildren, twelve 
great-grandchildren, his siblings 
Blanche, Olga, Valda (Hugh) and 
predeceased by Ken, Oliver, Tattie and 
Freda. Also missed by inlaws Elaine 
(Colville), Pat and Dwight (Marcia), 
nieces, grandnieces, nephews, 
grandnephews and friends. Visitation will 
be held Thur., Aug 22, 2013 from 
5:00-9:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral 
Home South, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, 
FL 33317. Funeral service will be held 
on Fri., August 23, 2013 at 11:00am at First 
Baptist Church of Plantation,150 NW 46th Ave, Plantation FL.33317. In lieu of 
flowers donations may be made to the 
First Baptist Church of Plantation, 150 
NW 46th Ave., Plantation, FL. 33317, in 
memory of Mr. Lester (Bertie) Walker. 
Interment at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
