DALEY - Gerald Lloyd: (formerly of Smithfield - Sav-La-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica/ also of Vere Clarendon, Jamaica/ also of Oshawa, Ontario) Peacefully with his family and friends by his side at Toronto General Hospital on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at age 81. Gerald, beloved husband of Sybil of 61 years. Loving father of Yvonne, Claudette (Enley Boyd), Jacqueline (Ronald Mason), Ingrid (Neville Bradnock), Michelle (Robert Martin) and the late Marcia and Astley Dunn. Proud grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Avril of Oshawa, Cecil, Patrick and Leila of Jamaica, Osra of New York, Wilton of Toronto, Enid of Florida and the late Monica of Oshawa. Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thanks to the group of Nephrologists, Nurses and Support Staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Dialysis Unit, Dr. Heather Ross, Dr. Morris Sherman at the Toronto General Hospital, Dr. Khalid Syed, Medical and Nursing Staff on 9A Fell and the MSNICU at Toronto Western Hospital and the Nurses and Medical Staff of CICU at the Toronto General Hospital for their loving care and support. Family and friends were received at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Thursday, September 13, 2012 and Friday September 14, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. George's Memorial Church, 51 Centre Street South, Oshawa (Corner of Centre and Bagot Streets) at 1 pm. Entombment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dialysis Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
